ISO 14001:2015 has recently been revised to its third edition released September 23, 2015.  It maps out a framework that a company or organization can follow to set up an effective environmental management system and that can be used by any organization regardless of its activity or sector.

Organizations with existing certification have a three (3) year transition period to migrate their environmental management system to the new release of ISO 14001:2015.
