Westlake Vinyls – Geismar Signs with Mireaux

Mireaux Management Solutions is pleased to announce that Westlake Vinyls Company LP has signed with Mireaux for assistance with achieving ISO 9001 certification for their Geismar, LA Manufacturing plant. A subsidiary of Westlake Chemical, Westlake Vinyls – Geismar manufactures and supplies polyvinyl chloride resin, vinyl chloride monomer, and various other vinyls that are key ingredients in some of the world’s most prevalent products, including bottles, credit cards and PVC pipe.

Mireaux and the management of Westlake Vinyls – Geismar will work together to train employees, develop processes, procedures, and documentation, help implement systems to meet all requirements of the standard and conduct internal audits to ensure full compliance, all using Mireaux’s Proven Consulting Approach. The quality management system will be organized with the Web QMS enterprise management software. Both companies anticipate that by the end of 2013, Westlake Vinyls – Geismar will be a part of Mireaux’s 100% success rate in helping clients achieve ISO 9001 certification.
