Miriam Boudreaux presented the 4-hr workshop at the Royal Plaza Hotel in Orlando. She gave the audience feedback on her real life experience and lessons learned in integrating a Quality Management System and crossed-referenced that with the theory she presented. She gave the attendees all the necessary tools to complete this project from start to finish, that is, from forming the team to integrate the system, to actually having the QMS running on the intranet.
The workshop covered in detail the steps to integrate 4 standards: ISO9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949, ISO14001 and TL9000 into a single set of requirements within a Quality Management System. It also covered the steps to integrate a company’s various facilities into the same QMS, so that everyone will be able to share the Quality Manual, Procedures, Corrective and Preventive Action System, etc. seamlessly from any company location and at anytime. The workshop also explained in detail the required flowcharts and decision trees to ensure that the Online Preventive and Corrective Action System work well for everybody and for everything including recording daily nonconformances, internal and external audit nonconformances, management review improvement actions, customer complaints, etc.
