Mireaux’s growth put it near the top of the FAST TECH Top 50 List.
The Houston Business Journal recently published a list of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Houston, and Mireaux was ranked #2. Miriam Boudreaux, CEO and Founder, was interviewed for a piece on Women in Technology.
With questions centered on the unique challenges and opportunities faced by female technology executives, Miriam advises women to put their knowledge and expertise up front. She shares, “I don’t think I have had much struggle because I think most companies are looking for knowledge. If you’re knowledgeable, it doesn’t matter what you look like, where you’re from, or whether you have an accent.” She also notes that while STEM fields and the Oil & Gas industry are male-dominated, Houston is an open-minded city, and opportunities for women in business are expanding.
