Last week, Mireaux Management Solutions organized an outing at TopGolf in Houston, Texas. This event was originally planned to welcome our new intern from France. Unfortunately, she was sick on the day of the outing and could not attend. However, we didn’t waste this great opportunity to engage in a team-building activity. In the end, our team members had a great time during this outing.
TopGolf is a fun and social destination that combines golf with interactive games. It offers climate-controlled bays, which is a great feature, especially considering the unpredictable weather in Houston. These bays are equipped with special golf balls, making it an ideal option for golfers of all skill levels.
Our team, comprising of Melissa, Geno, Paul, Jennifer, and CEO Miriam, had a delightful time playing golf under the setting sun. As we played, we savored delicious bites and some drinks, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. The outing provided an excellent opportunity for the team to strengthen our connections outside of the workplace. Melissa showed off her golfing skills, impressing everyone with her precise shots. Geno and Paul also had friendly competition, trying not to be the last person in position.
Even if at the end of the game, the scores were not the right ones because we all forgot to change to the person who was playing, we all had a good time. We even conducted a Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and found that the change in player needed to be automated, which was a feature already available and that we used in the next game selection.
In addition to having fun and bonding with each other, ourteam also had the opportunity to improve our golf skills.
Throughout the evening, our team members cheered each other on, shared tips and had good ole fun.
Overall, it was a successful day for MMS, and our team returned to work the next day with renewed energy and a stronger sense of camaraderie.
