Mireaux Management Solutions is pleased to announce that Air Drilling Associates, Inc. (ADA) has signed with Mireaux for assistance with achieving API Q2 certification for their operations hub in Farmington, NM and their satellite location in Muncy, PA. ADA is a global leader in underbalanced techniques for petroleum and geothermal drilling such as air, mist, foam, and aerated fluid. Through their adherence to the strictest regulatory requirements, all of their services are backed by their commitment to quality, safety, health, and the environment. Mireaux and ADA will work together to assure that ADA achieves full compliance and certification in the Q2 standard.
The Q2 standard from the American Petroleum Institute (API) sets strict guidelines in areas such as risk assessment and management, contingency planning, and management of change. Risk assessment and management require that both real and potential risk be identified, communicated, and mitigated through risk management tools and preventive control measures. Contingency planning requires that procedures be maintained to help prevent and mitigate incidents and disruptions in the execution of service. Management of change requires a process by which proposed changes to the organizational structure, key personnel, and other major changes are assessed, reviewed, and approved. Mireaux’s unique consulting strategy and Web QMS software will make creating and maintaining a quality management system for ADA streamline. Mireaux anticipates that by early 2014 ADA will be added to its 100% success rate in helping clients attain their goals.
