Mireaux Spotlights DEQ Coatings!

A local producer of painting and coating services, DEQ Coatings recently signed up with Mireaux to become ISO 9001:2015 certified. We are excited that DEQ Coatings has chosen Mireaux to guide them on this great journey.

DEQ Coatings, is a family-owned protective coating manufacturer, established in 2007 by Heron Garcia. DEQ Coatings offers a comprehensive line of zinc primers, epoxy anti-corrosive, and high performance topcoats. They are experts in high temperature, surface tolerant coatings, interior primers, and finishes. DEQ Coatings has highly chemically resistant tank linings which gives them the ability to provide high quality coatings for virtually any service requirement.

DEQ Coatings has been recognized in the oil and gas industry for a great number of years as a predominant supplier of high performance, long life coatings including abrasive blasting, phosphate and oil, powder coating, and other industrial coating services.

Mireaux is working closely with DEQ Coatings to ensure that not only they achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification, but that they implement a Quality Management System that is specifically tailored to their business and company requirements. In addition to working diligently with Mireaux to become ISO 9001:2015 certified, DEQ Coatings is also in the process of opening up a new facility.

Mireaux coupled DEQ with one of our consultants, Y. Rujano, who has over 20 years of Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience and the ability to speak three different languages. Rujano is a perfectly matched Consultant for DEQ Coatings and their predominantly Spanish speaking employees, as she also has experience with coordinating hydro testing, heat treatment, sand blasting & painting on alloy piping fabrication.
