On April 28th, Mireaux Management Solutions sponsored a Clay Shoot event organized by the American Petroleum Institute (API). It was a great opportunity to see people from various companies test their shooting skills while discussing about the different services our company has to offer.
We were happy to sponsor a stand at the event, it was also a wonderful opportunity for our French Marketing intern, Maureen to discover this kind of sport not common in France. Maureen was able to see what we needed to do to prepare for an event, to attend the event and to dismantle. She really enjoyed being there for our company. | ||
Mireaux welcomed all company participants to our stand with free snacks and drinks. We put the water on the Gatorade cooler and the Gatorade in the water cooler, and it was funny to see that almost every time someone wanted a drink -they had something to say about that. Well, i guess we lost traceability and needed an API procedure for that! 😂
The event, which lasted about 3 hours, kept Jennifer and Maureen busy but entertained, discussing about differences between France and the USA especially about Firearms. |

For the event, Mireaux provided a giveaway to those kind attendees that gave us their business cards. At the end of the event, Maureen selected the winner who was Jim Slater from Walter Oil & Gas Corporation. He won our beautiful, insulated tumbler with our company logo and a gift card for TopGolf.
API also had a raffle to win a gun. Jennifer tried her luck- for her husband- but didn’t win… maybe next time. After all the fun, it was the time to see who was the winner of the Clay Shoot and that’s how the event finished, with a great celebration and lunch. Overall, we had a pleasant day. We were especially lucky because the weather in Houston was really nice, sunny and breeze, perfect for clay shoot. Also, we want to add that no animals were harmed during this event. |
