About

The Internal Auditing Techniques course is a focused, practical training designed to equip participants with the core skills and knowledge to develop and carry out an effective Internal Audit program. Based on ISO 19011:2018 – Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems, this 1-day course is an essential component of all Mireaux Internal Auditor training programs.

Description

Built on decades of auditing experience, this course provides a solid foundation for conducting internal audits in line with international best practices. Participants will learn how to establish an Internal Audit program, plan and perform audits, and report findings clearly and constructively.

Interactive exercises, real-world audit scenarios, and role-playing activities are used throughout the course to help participants build confidence and apply what they learn in a practical, meaningful way.

Whether you are new to auditing or looking to sharpen your skills, this course will empower you to contribute effectively to your organization’s audit process.

Learning Objectives​

By the end of the course, participants will understand how to:

  • Identify the competencies and responsibilities of an internal auditor

  • Establish and manage an Internal Audit program

  • Plan and conduct audits using interviews, observations, and document reviews

  • Write clear, concise nonconformities and develop professional audit reports

  • Follow up on audit results to ensure effective closure of nonconformities

Prerequisites​

There are no formal prerequisites for this course.

However, participants new to management systems are encouraged to take Mireaux’s Fundamentals of Document Control course or any of our ISO or API Implementation courses to build a strong foundational knowledge.
