Move from revision awareness to a focused transition plan. This self-paced course helps experienced ISO 9001 users identify changes that affect their QMS, distinguish substantive requirements from relocated or clarified wording, and prioritize practical updates. Mireaux’s side-by-side comparison, short expert videos, and transition checklist turn a complex standards review into manageable action.

Description

ISO 9001:2026 builds on the familiar quality management system framework, but organizations still need to determine what changed, what moved, and what now requires stronger evidence or control.

This focused Self-Paced course helps participants review the final 2026 edition efficiently and convert the revision into an organized transition plan. Twenty-six concise expert videos explain how to use Mireaux’s clause-by-clause comparison and evaluate changes affecting organizational context, interested parties, quality culture and ethical behavior, risks and opportunities, QMS change planning, organizational knowledge, competence, documented information, disruption communication, operational controls, design and development, external providers, internal audits, management review, continual improvement, and corrective action.

Participants receive a detailed ISO 9001:2015-to-2026 Comparison Analysis and a practical Transition Checklist to assess current processes, assign owners, document evidence, and monitor completion. The course test reinforces the distinctions between substantive requirements, clarified expectations, relocated content, and implementation guidance.

Rather than treating every wording change as a new obligation, participants practice deciding whether existing processes remain suitable, where documents or controls need revision, and what evidence will demonstrate effective implementation. This approach helps teams coordinate the transition across process owners and prepare for certification-body review with clear priorities.

By the end, participants will be prepared to focus resources on the changes that matter, preserve effective existing controls, and move their QMS toward ISO 9001:2026 without unnecessary rework.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify substantive ISO 9001:2026 changes and distinguish them from clarifications, relocated content, and implementation guidance.
  • Assess how revised requirements affect organizational context, interested parties, quality culture, ethical behavior, and leadership practices.
  • Evaluate separate risk and opportunity decisions and strengthen planning, communication, monitoring, and review of QMS changes.
  • Determine needed updates to organizational knowledge, competence evidence, awareness, documented information, and current work instructions.
  • Assess changes involving disruptions, customer communication, operational criteria, design inputs, external providers, and nonconformity controls.
  • Update internal audit objectives, management review inputs, analysis of risk and opportunity results, and improvement activities.
  • Use the comparison analysis and transition checklist to identify gaps, assign ownership, document evidence, and verify readiness.

Prerequisites

No formal prerequisite is required. Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or practical experience maintaining, implementing, or auditing a quality management system is strongly recommended.
