Description

Strong internal audits start with a working understanding of the system being audited. This course gives participants the implementation foundation and auditing practice needed to evaluate ISO 9001:2026 with confidence, not just compare documents to requirements.

Built on Mireaux’s proven experience implementing and auditing management systems, this course covers:

  1. What ISO 9001:2026 and ISO 19011:2026 require
  2. How to turn ISO 9001 requirements into practical QMS controls
  3. How to audit the system for conformity, effectiveness, and improvement opportunities
  4. How to plan audits, follow evidence, document findings, and support corrective-action follow-up

The course connects the requirements to decisions people actually make when building and maintaining a QMS: defining processes, assigning ownership, controlling information, developing competence, managing suppliers, protecting product and service conformity, and using performance evidence to improve. Instead of treating ISO 9001 as a checklist, participants learn to see how requirements work together as a management system that should help the business run with more discipline, clarity, and customer confidence.

That foundation makes the audit training stronger. Participants practice using ISO 19011:2026 guidance to plan audits around real priorities, follow audit trails, ask sharper questions, separate isolated issues from weak controls, and explain findings in a way that supports corrective action.

Quick Sound Checks, Learning Checkpoints, Web QMS examples, practical workshops, and realistic audit exercises keep the course close to daily operations. Participants leave prepared to help their organization build a stronger QMS, evaluate it with evidence, and use audit results to support improvement and certification readiness.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize what a practical, process-based ISO 9001:2026 QMS should look like in daily operations.
  • Translate customer, regulatory, and organizational needs into QMS scope, processes, responsibilities, objectives, and controls.
  • Make better implementation decisions so procedures, records, training, supplier controls, production controls, and monitoring support real work.
  • Evaluate whether operational controls protect conformity and customer requirements from order review through delivery and follow-up.
  • Use data, customer feedback, audit results, management review, and corrective action to drive practical improvement.
  • Plan an internal audit program aligned with business priorities, risks, process changes, and certification needs.
  • Prepare audit agendas, checklists, and audit trails that lead to objective evidence instead of checkbox auditing.
  • Conduct interviews and review evidence in a way that tests both conformity and effectiveness.
  • Write clear findings and follow up on corrective actions so audit results help improve the system.

Prerequisites

No previous knowledge is required. Advanced Document Control or equivalent quality management system experience is recommended, especially for participants who will lead implementation or audit activities.
