Update your API Q2 system without starting over. This focused course helps you distinguish substantive 3rd Edition changes from clarified or reorganized requirements, identify gaps, and prioritize practical actions. Drawing on Mireaux’s comparison analysis and implementation experience, turn the revision into a manageable plan for updating controls, records, and audit evidence.

Description

Moving to API Q2, 3rd Edition requires more than updating clause numbers. Organizations need to determine which changes affect their services, where existing controls remain suitable, and what additional evidence will demonstrate conformity.

Designed for participants familiar with the second edition, this course uses Mireaux’s comparison analysis to distinguish new and revised requirements from clarifications and relocated content. The emphasis is on decisions and actions, not treating every wording change as a new obligation.

Participants examine the implications for QMS scope and planning, organizational knowledge, document control, and record retention. Operational changes are connected to supplier controls, service quality plans, performance acceptance criteria, equipment, maintenance, nonconformities, and management of change.

Practical examples help participants assess whether a procedure needs revision, a control needs strengthening, or existing evidence already addresses the requirement. The course also considers updates to internal audit coverage, performance evaluation, and management review.

The intended outcome is a prioritized transition plan identifying affected processes, responsible personnel, required updates, and evidence needed to verify implementation. This is a focused revision course, not a substitute for full API Q2 implementation or internal auditor training.
