Description

The API Q1 Implementation course is a practical, clause-by-clause course for organizations providing products or servicing to the petroleum and natural gas industry. It focuses on turning API Specification Q1, 10th Edition, requirements into an operating quality management system that supports product conformity, customer confidence, and certification readiness.

Participants learn how to make sound implementation decisions, establish appropriate processes and controls, determine what evidence is needed, and evaluate whether the QMS is working effectively. The course also helps participants recognize weak or overly administrative systems and understand how auditors assess implementation.

Throughout the course, participants examine each clause of API Q1 using a structured methodology:

Prerequisites

This is an implementation-level course. Participants should have work experience in quality, operations, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, supply chain, or management; along with a working familiarity of QMS concepts.

This course is not intended as a first introduction to the workplace or to quality management systems. Those without this background should complete a Fundamentals of Document Control, ISO 9001 Implementation, or equivalent introductory training first.

Identification and traceability, inspection and test status, externally owned property, and preservation
Inspection, testing and verification, preventive maintenance, product release, and TMMDE
Control of nonconforming product and management of change

3. Measurement, Analysis, and Improvement — Clause 6

Monitoring and measurement, customer satisfaction, and internal audit
Analysis of data and evaluation of QMS performance

Successful Completion

Registration Transfer Policy

Registrations can be transferred to other participants or to other courses provided by Mireaux Management Solutions 30 days prior to the course start date.

Registration Transfers must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
There will be a 15% administrative fee applied to each registration transfer.
Payment for any difference in price, including the 15% administrative fee, will be required at the time of transfer to other courses of equal or greater value of the original paid amount.
Registration Transfers to a course of lesser value are allowed but are not eligible for refunds.
Registration Transfers are not allowed within 30 days of the course start date.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] 30 days prior to the course start date in order to receive a refund, minus a 15% administrative fee. Cancellations are not allowed within 30 days of the course start date.
