Description

This introductory course is based on ISO 9001:2026. It gives employees, managers, and process owners a practical overview of a quality management system (QMS) and how it supports customer satisfaction and consistent products and services.

The course begins with the origins and purpose of ISO 9001, including an introduction to the 2026 revision. It explains connected processes, the quality management principles, and Plan-Do-Check-Act using familiar situations from manufacturing and service organizations.

Participants explore how leadership and quality culture influence decisions, why work needs planning and support, and how clear customer requirements and supplier controls affect delivery. Examples show why current information, competent people, and suitable resources matter, and how feedback, internal audits, management review, and corrective action help the organization improve.

The final sections bring the system together through an order moving across connected processes, common QMS misconceptions, and an overview of how Web QMS apps support the work. The certification journey explains responsibilities, readiness, initial audit stages, and ongoing maintenance.

Quick Sound Checks encourage participants to apply the ideas to short scenarios. The participant guide and final knowledge test reinforce the foundation. The emphasis is on recognizing how the system works in practice. This course provides a starting point for further implementation or internal auditor training. It does not provide detailed instruction in implementing every requirement or conducting audits.
