API Q2, 3rd Edition strengthens and clarifies requirements affecting scope, suppliers, service planning, equipment, nonconformities, records, and more. This focused Self-Paced course helps experienced API Q2 users distinguish substantive changes from reorganized wording, identify gaps in their existing QMS, and prioritize practical transition actions using Mireaux’s clause-by-clause comparison and guidance.

Description

API Specification Q2, 3rd Edition does not require organizations to rebuild their quality management system from the beginning, but it does require a careful review of what changed, what moved, and what now demands stronger evidence or control.

This focused Self-Paced course helps participants interpret the revision efficiently and convert it into an organized transition plan. Short expert videos explain how to use Mireaux’s comparison analysis, recognize reorganized requirements, and evaluate important changes affecting QMS scope and planning, organizational knowledge, records, purchasing and suppliers, service quality plans, performance acceptance criteria, equipment controls, nonconforming service and SRP, management of change, internal audits, data analysis, and management review.

Course materials are organized into handouts and clause-based learning sections for Clauses 4, 5, and 6. Participants receive the full API Q2 2nd-to-3rd Edition Comparison Analysis and a practical transition checklist to help assess existing processes, assign actions, collect evidence, and monitor readiness.

By the end, participants will be better prepared to distinguish substantive changes from wording or structural changes, focus resources on the requirements that matter most, and move their API Q2 system toward the 3rd Edition without unnecessary rework.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate the impact of changes involving suppliers, service quality plans, performance acceptance criteria, equipment, TMMDE, nonconforming service and SRP, and management of change.
